SPRING / SUMMER 2014 – LOOKBOOK / CAMPAIGN
Spring / Summer 2014 is the first part of the last installment of the “AURYN” series. This season drew it’s inspiration from “The Childlike Empress”. Geometry and the idea of the view inside a diamond was translated into digital prints which were created by splitting patterns of hexagons. The hexagon itself was from the idea of the “queen bee” and was further explored in metallic laser cut leather.
Key trends of the season such as white, sheer blocking, sportswear, and metallic shine are combined to create a look which is demure, but sexy, and is reminiscent of Maggie Cheung in Wong Kar Wai’s film, “In the Mood for Love”.
AUTUMN / WINTER 2013 – LOOKBOOK / CAMPAIGN
Autumn / Winter 2013 is the second in the “AURYN” series, a trio of collections inspired by the 1980’s children’s fantasy film, “The Neverending Story”. “The Nothing,” the film’s villain, was the main inspiration. The look this season is youthful, edgy, classic, and sophisticated.
